Please make sure you have your full size hive ready to receive your new nuc.
Colonies are on a first come first served basis. If you’d like a colony, we would advise reserving one as soon as you can. There is a non refundable £50 deposit payable at the time of reservation with the balance to be paid prior to collection. If for any reason we can not fulfil your order, your deposit will be fully refunded.
COLLECTION ONLY
Collection will be any time between late April to early May. As beekeeping is very weather dependent, collection dates may vary considerably.Our pick up times are typically in the morning. You will be given a time slot which we ask you to keep to as there will be many pick ups on your collection date.
Pick up is near Newbury, Berkshire. Full details will be sent to you with your collection date.

Set up information will be provided with the colony at the time of collection.
Please make sure your nuc box is secured properly and is ventilated for the journey home.
On arrival at your apiary, place the nuc in the exact same position the final hive is going to be placed. Next day put the nuc to one side and place your full size hive in its place. Transfer the bees into the full hive making up the hive with more frames. It is always a good idea to feed the bees (1:1 sugar syrup) to get them to draw the comb and expand.
